Char Crust Prime Rib

Ingredients:

  • Prime Rib, 10 lb
  • Char Crust® Original Hickory Grilled

Instructions

  1. Dry the prime rib off with a paper towel. Sprinkle it with a little salt. Return it to the refrigerator.
  2. Remove the prime rib from the refrigerator 1 hour before cooking to get it room temperature.
  3. Coat the prime rib on all sides with Char Crust.
  4. Preheat the oven to 500°F.
  5. Place the prime rib in a roasting pan with a roasting rack and cook at 500°F for 15 minutes on the center rack.
  6. Lower the oven to 325°F and cook for 10 minutes per lb.
  7. Let it rest for 20 minutes.
  8. Slice and serve.
