Original Hickory Grilled
Char Crust Prime Rib
Ingredients:
- Prime Rib, 10 lb
- Char Crust® Original Hickory Grilled
Instructions
- Dry the prime rib off with a paper towel. Sprinkle it with a little salt. Return it to the refrigerator.
- Remove the prime rib from the refrigerator 1 hour before cooking to get it room temperature.
- Coat the prime rib on all sides with Char Crust.
- Preheat the oven to 500°F.
- Place the prime rib in a roasting pan with a roasting rack and cook at 500°F for 15 minutes on the center rack.
- Lower the oven to 325°F and cook for 10 minutes per lb.
- Let it rest for 20 minutes.
- Slice and serve.
